About Us
We did not begin as hoteliers. We are a family who traveled throughout our lives for both work and leisure, gathering along the way an understanding of what it truly means to feel at home. From that sense of belonging came the wish to share our own version of home with those who travel to Bali.
With that spirit, we built and slowly grew a little village, a precinct that enshrined beauty, warmth, and simplicity. A place where guests feel welcomed, sleep well, are in a happy place, and experience the best of a modern Bali rooted in traditions.
A local architect brought this vision to life, which became Uma Sapna (Uma means “home” in Balinese, and Sapna means “dream” in Hindi (Hinduism is at the core of the Balinese communities)). Within the precinct, art lives in a gallery, wellness in a spa, and food in one of Bali’s celebrated fusion restaurants.
To represent the cultural diversity of the Indonesian archipelago, the villas are clustered as island collections. Uma Sapna is not just a place to stay; it’s a place to belong. A home for travelers, dreamers, and those who seek beauty in the everyday.
